Dr. Samuel Santelices is the C.E.O. of North Florida Pediatrics and is a provider at our Lake City, Live Oak  and Chiefland Offices.

 

Since 2010, Dr. Santelices has pushed for the growth and expansion of the pediatric office, having opened 10 office branches during his service as Medical Director.

 

An international M.D. graduate from Far Eastern University Nicanor Reyes School of Medicine in Manila, Philippines, Dr. Santelices later completed his pediatric residency training at Elmhurst Hospital Center in New York City, USA, and afterward his pediatric intensive care fellowship at the University of Florida Health & Shands in Jacksonville, Florida. Additionally, Dr. Santelices is affiliated with Shands Lake Shore Hospital in Lake City, having been an on-call physician there for at least ten years.

Dr. Sam is a licensed and board-certified pediatrician, with experience in treating children in primary care as well as intensive care. Dr. Sam is also experienced in treating children with behavioral health problems, especially with ADD and ADHD.

Dr. Sam believes that taking care of kids is one of the most enjoyable aspects of being a pediatrician, and he strongly supports the company's vision to continue providing quality healthcare to children in the North Florida region.

 

Dr. Sam is also conversationally fluent in English, Chinese, and Filipino, and on his free time he enjoys watching movies, supporting his children, and watching basketball.
